American Foursquare Pyramidal Roofs

Pyramidal roofing, also known as a pyramid hip roof, is a hipped roof without the ridgeline. Pyramidal roofing is typically built over a square building, with the eaves all being the same length, and all four sloping roof planes meet at a single point at the top of the roof. Most pyramidal roofing has four sides, but some are octagonal. This type of roof came to be known as the American Foursquare style, and was synonymous with honesty and simplicity.

roofs, are sunlight and weather resistant, require little-to-no maintenance and
are reasonably priced. In addition, asphalt shingles are also easy to cut,
fasten, and fit, as well as being compatible with many different kinds of
flashing and edging products.
